What's in a Name? - INspire

The name for our INspire Wellness Retreat was chosen with intention and purpose.

The "IN" represents turning inward, reconnecting with yourself, and focusing on personal growth. It's about finding inspiration from withIN to ignite positive change in your life,

and light the fire inside you!

The word "INspire" also reflects our mission to inspire and empower every participant. We believe that by providing a nurturing environment, guidance, and a diverse range of wellness activities, we can spark a renewed sense of motivation, purpose, and well-being to help you continue on your wellness journey.

Each of our retreats are planned with NEW movement sessions, guest speakers, and wellness activities to ensure repeat participants have an enriching and INspiring experience each and every time they join us!

All participants will receive a physical copy of our INspire Wellness Retreat Manual.

This manual will take you through the day with prompts, habit tracking, guidance through our workshops and lots of pages for notes and planning your success story.

The virtual retreat was a nice escape from the stressors of the lockdown! The yoga and meditation were enjoyable and timely. I’m always producing excuses to not exercise, but Kyla can inspire even the most sedentary people to move. I love her approach to health and wellness.

Really enjoyed the evening INspire event I attended! The yoga class was great, the talk inspiring and very motivating. The social afterwards was also very nice with great food supplied by a local restaurant downtown. Love when local supports local!

Event was great, class was hard which I liked! Having a social after the class was fun, will do again for sure!

This was a well-organized weekend with varied and engaging content. Mixing in movement classes to break up the presentations gave participants the opportunity to have an immediate positive impact on their wellness. The longer yoga classes were supplemented with short posture breaks throughout the weekend which were great because they not only enabled participants to reset their bodies and minds to concentrate better, but they also modelled the kinds of “movement snacks” we could break up our working days at a desk with.

The presentations ranged from the dietary to the psychological dimensions of wellness. The information was mainly science-based with other more intuitive and traditional approaches and ways of knowing mixed in. A particularly lovely aspect of the weekend was its Sault Ste. Marie specificity — several of the presentations were from local business owners offering services in our community to support wellness.

It was a great introduction to the gym. Completely different atmosphere than any I have been to. Thoroughly motivated me to sign up for next retreat and personal training!

It was an amazing weekend spent with like minded people with a focus on health and wellness. The staff and speakers had a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise to offer. Both days focused on developing personal attainable goals that included practical ways of implementing small actions into our daily lives. Most importantly it was about taking time to reflect, be mindful, intentional, live with purpose and presently, loving ourselves along the way.

I did one day of the two day retreat and it was an excellent variety of speakers who were engaging and informative. I learned a lot of great information on various wellness topics. Lunch was great and the swag bag was full of great goodies from local businesses!

This past weekend I participated in a Women's Wellness Retreat at Fit Bodies Fit Minds. The two day agenda was well paced with professional speakers, relevant topics and the movement sessions offered were spot on! The Retreat was organized in a very fluid and comfortable pace with nutritional, tasty snacks and lunches. The booklet provided a guide with information, exercises and space for personal note taking. The Swag Bag was full of practical items and many discount coupons in support of local businesses. Personally, it was a great reset and reminder to breathe, keep moving and have a positive attitude.
Kyla's knowledge and passion for health and wellness together with her presentation skills are truly inspiring! All Retreat speakers were relevant, knowledgeable and provided opportunities for questions, comments and discussion.
Kudos to Kyla and her amazing team for a welcomed opportunity to restart with wellness information, new and practical movements combined with holistic breathing exercises.

I hope future retreats might also draw on the great wisdom of our Anishinaabe community members and neighbours who have so much to teach us about healing and strength.

Thanks to everyone for making this a wonderful weekend!

It was empowering and provided realistic and doable advice that can be implemented and showcased a bit of what FBFM is all about. The staff and guest speakers were engaging and so knowledgeable.

INspire was more than I could’ve hoped for. The teachings were lead by knowledgeable and passionate women who want to see all women reach their optimal health. I feel like I finally have some tools to help me in my journey to mental and physical health and peace. I loved the yoga and meditation the most. It will take me some time to let go of mom guilt but it was worth it for me to go to hear that I’m not alone in that feeling. I’m worth taking care of too, to put myself care at the top. I will definitely be signing up for more of these. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
